Every time today, whenever people bring up the Silk Road, people naturally think of the Silk Road on land as they traveled from Chang’an (now Xi’an), Luoyang, the Hexi Corridor, through central Xinjiang to all West Asian countries. Before the Sui and Tang Dynasties, this road was the main transportation route for exporting silk and other commodities in China. However, it should be noted that the Silk Road is not a single export of silk but is actually a Chinese-foreign trade avenue. Silk Road is not one. According to the literature, as early as the time before the eighteenth century, China’s silk spread outward from land and sea respectively, forming a series of sea and land silk roads. One of the most important devaluation of the Hexi Corridor on the Silk Road and the South China Sea Silk Road.
