从改革开放、北京奥运会再到上海世博会,世界对中国的关注度不断升温,我国的饮食文化也越来越深受重视。于是,菜谱、相关菜名手册以及旅游宣传册等方面的教科书里所涉及到的菜名英译应运而生。与此同时,也引起翻译界的不断关注,其中大量的优秀译名充分地展现了我国精深的烹饪文化。然而,也出现了一些不好的译名,刻板乏味、南辕北辙,给人带来混乱和困惑。

As a result, the English translation of the names of the dishes involved in textbooks on recipes, related menu titles and travel brochures came into being. At the same time, it also aroused constant concern in the translation field. A large number of excellent translations fully demonstrated the profound culinary culture in our country. However, there have also been some bad translations that are stereotyped and timid. They lead to confusion and confusion.
