高中英语课程要求教师培养学生英语学习的自主性和独立性。这就对英语教师提出了全新的挑战。英语教学的重心从“教”转移到“学”上来,并不意味着教师作用的削弱。相反,这种转移对教师提出了更高的要求,教师能否转变教育观念,能否提升自身素质,以及能否改变教学方法都成了教师的作用能否得到充分发挥,教师能否有效地促进学生英语自主学习能力的形成和提高的关键。
