上个世纪九十年代是中国空调器行业大发展的时期,这个时期可分为三个阶段:一是前三年的萌芽阶段,二是中三年投资高峰阶段,三是后四年的市场争夺阶段。这个时期空调器产业增长的突出特点是生产能力迅速增加,规模效益突现,市场需求增速快、产品品种变化多,“适者生存”的市场法则在空调器产业表现得尤为明显。以春兰、格力、海尔、美的、科龙为代表的空调器主导品牌产能占到总能力的50%,而产量已超过60%。日、美、韩在我国建立的近20家空调器合资、独资企业从1995年开始形成一定的生产能力,产量约为总量的15%。空调器产品的主要零部件——空调压缩机、电磁换向阀和电机、两器材料铜管铝箔和控制器的配套产业已经形成,从而奠定了中国空调器生产良好的产业基础。

Nearly 20 air-conditioner joint ventures or wholly-owned enterprises established by Japan, the United States, and South Korea began to form a certain production capacity in 1995, and the output is about 15% of the total. The main components of air-conditioner products, namely the air-conditioning compressors, electromagnetic reversing valves and motors, and the matching industries of copper and aluminum foils for controllers and controllers, have been formed, which has laid a solid foundation for the production of air conditioners in China.
