Through the polycondensation reaction, high molecular weight linear and hyperbranched fluorene-diazoles polymers were obtained, all of which are soluble in common organic solvents. In the case of solid films, their UV-visible absorption spectra have two strong absorption peaks at about 398 nm and 376 nm. Their thin-film PL spectra have strong emission peaks in the blue wavelength range, with a PL of about 16%. Electrochemical tests show that their LUMO energy levels are higher than those of fluorene homopolymers and closer to the work functions of typical cathode materials such as calcium and magnesium, suggesting that these polymers have good electron injection and transport properties
