前概念是学生在接触科学知识前,对现实生活现象所形成的经验型概念。而由于中学生知识经验有限,辩证思维还不发达,思维的独立性和批判性还不成熟,考虑问题容易产生表面性,且往往会被表面现象所迷惑,而看不到事物的本质,所以易形成错误的前概念。这些错误概念对物理概念的正确形成极为不利,它排斥了科学概念的建立,阻碍着物理教学效率的进一步提高。
