The impact of the noise characteristics of hydraulic rock drills on operators has so far failed to be adequately studied. In the extensive literature on hydraulic rock drills, only the general noise level (dB, A) is usually listed. Analysis of these documents leads to the conclusion that hydraulic rock drills are 7 to 10 decibels (A) lower in noise than comparable rock drills and it is clear that this is related to the radiation-free characteristics of hydraulic rock drills without exhaust and mechanical noise. Analysis of the noise spectrum of hydraulic rock drill shows that the frequency spectrum of pneumatic rock drill is different, the maximum frequency of the octave band is 1 ~ 2 kHz, and the wind-driven rock drill in the high-frequency range
