生物是自然科学的一门重要基础学科。当今世界面临的重大问题,如粮食短缺、人口过剩、环境污染、资源开发等等,都与生物科学有着直接关系。因此,在中学教育中,生物教学也应占据着较重要的位置。然而农村中学的生物教学现状不容乐观,教师的课堂教学仍是以讲授灌输为主、学生被动接受的重教轻学的倾向还没有得到改变;学生的主体性、主动性、创造性没有得到充分发挥;没有进行探究性学习的教学,而实验教学则根本没有展开。
Biology is an important basic science in natural science. The major issues facing the world today, such as food shortage, overpopulation, environmental pollution and resource development, are all directly related to the biological sciences. Therefore, in the secondary education, biology teaching should also occupy a more important position. However, the current situation of biology teaching in rural middle schools is not optimistic.
