Objective To reduce the postoperative complications of microvascular decompression and improve patient satisfaction. Methods According to the time period, 845 patients with cranial nerve diseases receiving microvascular decompression were divided into control group (253 cases) and improvement group (592 cases). In the control group, the head was used to fix the head and the contralateral upper limb was fixed in the head space with the brace. In the improved group, the C-shaped soft pillow was used instead of the head frame to fix the head of the patient. The contralateral upper limb was naturally placed on the back of the operation bed. Results The incidence of postoperative scalp hemorrhage / edema and neck and shoulder muscle ache in the improved group was significantly lower than that in the control group (P <0.01). There was no significant difference in the curative effect between the two groups (P > 0.05). Conclusion Improved posture can effectively reduce the operation-related complications in patients and improve nursing satisfaction.
