当前农村小学体育师资奇缺,严重地影响了体育教学质量的提高,而农村体育师资不能靠外地解决,必须立足本地中师培养补充。为此,笔者对中师体育教育进行了改革实验。三年改革实验证明:三年制中师只要对体育组织形式、教材、教法、考试方法等进行改革,加强对学生进行体育能力和专业能力的培养,学生毕业后基本都能胜任农村小学中、低年级的体育教学工作,把中师15—20%热爱农村学校体育,体育基础好的学生组织起来成立体育组,利用课内外时间加强训练,让他们多参加实践活动,在实践中增长才干,培养能力,毕业后基本能担任农村中心小学专、兼职体育教师。
