Objective To detect the expression of macrophage colony stimulating factor (M-CSF) in the serum of patients with cervical cancer and cervical intraepithelial neoplasia (CIN), and to explore its role in the development of cervical cancer and the value of early diagnosis. Methods Forty-nine cases of cervical cancer, 60 cases of CIN and 40 cases of healthy subjects diagnosed with cervical cancer from June 2014 to June 2016 were selected as the study subjects. Serum samples were collected for the detection of M-CSF, SCC -Ag expression level. Results The serum levels of M-CSF and SCCAg in patients with cervical cancer were significantly higher than those in healthy controls and CIN patients (all P <0.01). The expression of M-CSF in CIN group was significantly higher than that in normal control group (P <0.05), and the level of CIN in high grade CIN group was significantly higher than that in low grade CIN group (P <0.05). However, the expression of M-CSF in CIN group and normal control group The difference was not statistically significant (P> 0.05). Combined detection of SCC-A and M-CSF significantly increased the detection rate of cervical cancer. M-CSF in cervical cancer and high-grade CIN patients after surgery were reduced to normal levels, the difference between before and after surgery was statistically significant (P <0.05), SCCAg only in cervical cancer group before and after surgery were statistically significant Significance (P <0.05). Conclusion M-CSF may be a useful serological marker in the diagnosis of cervical cancer and CIN, which is expected to predict the prognosis of CIN and cervical cancer.
