随着设计综合自动系统愈来愈强大和集成电路市场进一步转向专用技术,迅速地把发展中的专用集成电路(ASIC)技术转移到其他工程学科中去的问题已经变得十分重要了。概念构架有助于我们更好地理解ASIC设计的本质。本文从设计决策的整体性出发,采用设计过程、设计多维空间和设计指令表三方面的框架知识来描述构架。设计过程框架着重于层次设计途径并介绍定型了的设计处理方法。设计多维空间概念涉及到对设计选择元的识别。对评价算法和体系结构选择元的分析技术进行了收集和分类,以形成设计指令表。这种概念构架是弥合系统设计者和超大规模(VLSI)技术之间正在展宽的间隙的一种有效的办法,它也为开发高级体系结构设计的新手段提供了概念性舞台。
As integrated automation systems become more powerful and ASIC markets move further to proprietary technologies, the problem of rapidly moving from ASIC technology to other engineering disciplines has become significant. The conceptual architecture helps us better understand the nature of ASIC design. Based on the integrity of design decision-making, this paper uses the design process, the design of multidimensional space and the design instruction form three aspects of the framework to describe the framework. The design process framework focuses on the hierarchical design approach and introduces the finalized design approach. The concept of designing multidimensional spaces involves the identification of design choice elements. The analysis techniques of evaluation algorithms and architecture selection elements were collected and classified to form a design instruction list. This conceptual architecture is an effective way to bridge the expanding gap between system designers and Very Large Scale (VLSI) technologies and it also provides a conceptual stage for developing new approaches to advanced architecture design.
