初中英语是一门很重要的课程,老师如何教,如何用适当的方式对于英语教学效果起着关键作用。课堂是英语教学的重要组成部分,并且在教学之中占比最大,目前,大多数教师仍采用传统的英语教学方法,单方面的进行知识灌输,是课堂教学的主导者,学生只是被动地接受知识。这样的教学模式下,学生的学习积极性低下,对英语学习的关注度不高,缺乏主动性。小组合作教学革新了传统的灌输式英语教学方法,利用合作交流的方式引导学生开展自主学习,将课堂的主导权归还于学生,学生在合作、交流之中发现问题、分析问题、解决问题,小组合作学习是一个良性竞争学习方式,锻炼学生的合作能力和团队精神。通过这样的教学方法,可以充分地调动学生的思维能力,锻炼学生的英语表达能力,培养学生的合作意识,打破以往沉闷、枯燥的英语课堂教学模式,使英语课堂更加生动、有趣,增进学生之间的互动交流和合作学习,提高学生的学习积极性和主动性,在很大程度上有效地提高了英语教学效率。
