小学教学新课程标准中明确提出: “数学教学要紧密联系学生的生活实际,从学生的生活经验和已有知识出发,创设生动有趣情境, 引导学生开展观察、操作、猜想、推理、交流等活动,使学生通过数学活动掌握基本的数学知识和技能,初步学会从数学的角度去观察事物、思考问题。”从中我们可以看出,新课程要求下的小学数学教学不仅注重数学知识的传授,更应注重数学能力的培养。笔者在多年的教学实践中体会到,引导学生运用几何形体进行制作,则是落实上述要求的有效途径。
