邓小平理论的核心就是为中国现代化发展构建了一种新的现代化模式──中国特色的社会主义现代化模式．这是社会主义历史上的一次具有实质意义的创新．这一新的现代化模式内在包括社会主义市场经济、社会主义民主政治和社会主义现代文化三个层面．全面把握邓小平理论关于有中国特色社会主义现代化模式的思想，对于我们今天全面推进有中国特色的社会主义现代化具有十分重大的意义．
The core of Deng Xiaoping Theory is to establish a new mode of modernization for the modernization of China - the socialist modernization model with Chinese characteristics. This is a substantive innovation in the history of socialism. This new model of modernization inherently includes the socialist market economy, socialist democratic politics and the socialist modern culture at three levels. Comprehensively grasping Deng Xiaoping Theory’s thinking on the socialist modernization model with Chinese characteristics is of great significance to our comprehensive promotion of socialist modernization with Chinese characteristics today.
