2002年4~10月 ,西安市文物保护考古所为配合西部大学城建设 ,在西安市长安区郭杜镇西北政法学院南校区进行考古发掘 ,清理古代墓葬数十座。其中M20为斜坡墓道土洞墓 ,出土随葬器物主要有铜器和铁器。墓中出土2枚铜印 ,一枚印文“张汤”、“张君信印” ;另一枚印文“张汤“、“臣汤” ,应为墓主之印。根据墓葬的形制和出土器物等特点 ,以及文献中有关记载 ,M20的墓主可推断为西汉时期御史大夫张汤。
From April to October 2002, Xi’an Cultural Relics Archeology Institute conducted archeological excavations in the south campus of Northwest College of Politics and Law of Guo Du Town, Chang’an District, Xi’an in order to cooperate with the construction of the western university town and cleared dozens of ancient tombs. Among them, the M20 is a soil cave tomb ramp, unearthed mainly utensils bronze and iron artifacts. The tomb unearthed 2 copper, an Indian ”Zhang Tang“, ”Zhang Jun letter India“; another seal ”Zhang Tang“, ”Chen Tang" should be the tomb of the Indian. According to the shape of the tombs and unearthed artifacts and other characteristics, as well as relevant records in the literature, the M20’s tomb master can be inferred as the late Han Dynasty doctor Zhang Tang.
