Objective To investigate the prognosis of recipients with international standardized cardiac death donation (DCD). Methods Preoperative and postoperative diagnosis and follow-up of 14 patients undergoing DCD were retrospectively analyzed. Results Among the 14 recipients, 3 had normal early postoperative renal function (IGF), 7 had normal renal function (SGF), and 4 had delayed renal function (DGF). There were 4 cases of acute rejection (AR) and 3 cases of chronic rejection (CR). The survival rates at 1, 3 and 5 years were 92.9%, 85.7% and 85.7% respectively. The 1, 3 and 5 years renal survival rates were 92.9%, 78.6% and 78.6%, respectively. Conclusions DCD is a very potential solution to the organ shortage in organ transplant in our country. The long-term effect needs to be further observed.
