手机短信作为用文字传递信息和沟通的一种方式,让拇指灵敏发达起来,现代电信的业务具有了技术和文化的双重色彩。因此,顾名思义,本文称之为“拇指媒体”。短信不仅已经为网络以及电信业带来了暴利,还为广播电视业以及报业创造了新的商机,对于短信这一新的媒介形式,本文从理论分析入手,阐述了短信的概念和特点,并且从传播学角度深入分析了短信作为新的媒介形式的特征,同时建议应加强对手机内容的监管。
