二十世纪80年代中期,国门大开,观念活跃,书法创作迎来了难得的发展机遇。当是时,各式展览蠭起,书法活动频繁,至今人们都习惯用“书法热”来描述那个激情燃烧的年代。在这个热潮之中,有人独持边见,有人随波逐流,有人审时度势,有人裹足不前。如今三十年过去,当我们回眸那个年代曾经的弄潮儿时,却不无意外地发现,集体性的退步几乎是那一代人的宿命。说不清楚到底是为声名所累匍匐不前,还是因过度应酬平添了几分酒肉气,总之,能让后生起敬畏之心的书家,难得一见。这段历史并不长,我们记住了他们曾经的意气风发,也目睹他们最终与艺术擦肩而过。尤为令人忧
In the mid-1980s, China opened its door to a vibrant concept of calligraphy and ushered in a rare opportunity for development.
