For a long time ago in our country, the status of the railway in the transportation industry was irreplaceable. Road transport is based on the attitude of “sharing the railway’s worries”. However, in the subsequent development of road passenger transport, it is not always smooth and smooth. It can be almost considered that in our country, the history of road development is a history closely linked to the railway. The development of road transport can even be seen as a result of competition with the railway. The road passenger transport between Beijing and Tianjin is a specimen line of road passenger transport, which not only entangled the railway and the highway game, at the same time various types of stakeholders in various historical stages of in and out together constitute the 22 years of ambitious Repertory. The reporter interviewed Mr. Wei Zhiliang, a veteran of the domestic passenger transport industry. He told reporters about the ups and downs of passenger transport between Beijing and Tianjin. The purpose of this paper is to analyze the ups and downs of this route and provide a reference case for the rapid development of highway passenger transport. So who is the winner of the competition between the highway and the railway? Who is the last winner among the various stakeholders?
