Objective To explore the difference of spatial exploration ability between Chronic Fatigue Syndrome (CFS) mice and normal mice. Methods The CFS mouse model was replicated by compound stimulation, and then the activities of CFS mice and normal mice in open-field device were observed. Results Compared with the control group, the total distance and the average speed of activity of the model group mice in the open-field device were lower than that of the control group; the activity time and the distance of movement in the peripheral region were significantly lower than those in the control group (P <0.05). However, the total time and distance traveled in the central area were significantly higher than those in the control group (P <0.05). Conclusion The spontaneous and exploratory behaviors of CFS mice are decreased, and the levels of avoidance and anxiety are increased.
