Medieval Britain’s currency casting system was formed in the late Anglo-Saxon, Norman conquest after further development and improvement. In the process, in order to strengthen the control of the right to coin and get more seigniorage, the king think it is necessary to control the currency casting. With the increasing concentration of money casting, the King of England not only highly controls the appointment and removal of officials in the mint, but also strengthens the management of the manufacture and distribution of the money mold and strictly supervises the process of coin casting. These initiatives not only reflect the development of the British British currency casting system itself, but also reflect the current political and economic conditions.
