Christianity was born in Palestine under the ancient Roman rule in the mid-first century AD. The Christian tradition of opposing the Roman Empire was influenced by the oppression of the Jewish nation by the Roman Empire and deepened under its monotheistic teachings. After the beginning of the first century and the beginning of the second century, Christianity gradually obeyed the Roman Empire for obeying the composition of society and the change of theological thought and the development of the church organization. After Constantine legitimized Christianity in the fourth century, Christianity eventually merged with the Roman Empire and became its governing instrument.
