型砂的质量控制是七十年代末八十年代初发展起来的一门新兴科学,它的主要任务是控制型砂的成分与性能以获得优质的铸件,其特点是用现代系统工程的科学方法,特别是使用电子计算机来控制型砂的质量。目前,国际上不少先进国家,如瑞士G·F公司,美国的Dietest公司都在进行这方面的研究,在我国还是一个崭新的课题。但可以预料,随着信息革命的深入发展,铸造生产水平必将进入一个新阶段,型砂的质量问题也将从根本上得到解决。
Quality control of molding sand is an emerging science developed in the late 1970s and early 1980s.
