The correlation coefficient is a quantitative indicator of the closeness of the linear relationship between the two variables. Comparing the correlation coefficient between internode length and fiber length of tea stalk bamboo and stamen bamboo, the result is that the tea straw stalk is 0.725, 0.337 and 0.574 from the inside to the middle of the bamboo ring, respectively, which is larger than the critical value of 0.381 and 0.629 , 0.638,0.618, greater than the critical value of 0.361. The linear correlation between fiber length and internode length was significant. The length of the fiber may be a factor of internodal elongation, when the fiber cells are fully stretched before thickening, will cause internodal elongation, so the two are closely related. Bamboo fiber length, internode length and its use have a great relationship. If we understand the relationship between the two, and explore the reasons for the future use of bamboo, the development of operational management measures of practical significance. Many scholars have in-depth study of some bamboo fiber length and internode length change, found that the two changes are very consistent, so that the length of bamboo fiber growth and shortening, and internode length. The authors attempt to provide a mathematical basis for this conclusion by calculating the correlation coefficient between fiber length and internode length. Reference to what day equal research data, the data for the determination of a large number of fibers, that is, bamboo stem Pseudosasa areabilis (McCl.) Keng f. Perennial 9 bamboo stalk of a total of 30,750 fibers; Bambusa pervariabilis McClure The same bamboo age 4 bamboo measured a total of 16,500 fibers.
