中国是全球第一大手机消费国,到2005年底,手机用户3.9亿户。但是,这个发展是不均衡的,在中国中西部尤其在农村地区,通信设施还是相当落后的,用句比较时髦的话来说还有数字鸿沟。几年前,手机市场“井喷”的时候,中国电信市场在跨国电信公司眼里就是新大陆。13亿人口、广阔的疆土、持续高速增长的GDP以及远远低于世界平均水平的人均手机保有量,都强烈刺激着电信企业的神经。“井喷”之后,手机市场经历了持续的价格拉锯战。人们不禁要问,中国手机市场的潜力到底有多大?
China is the world’s largest consumer of mobile phones by the end of 2005, with 390 million mobile phone users. However, this development is uneven. In central and western China, especially in rural areas, the communication facilities are still quite backward. There is still a digital divide in more fashionable terms. A few years ago, the mobile phone market “blowout” when the Chinese telecommunications market in the eyes of multinational telecommunications companies is the New World. The 1.3 billion people, vast territory, sustained high-growth GDP, and per-capita handset holdings far below the world average are all strongly stimulating the nerve of the telecommunications industry. “Blowout ” after the mobile phone market has experienced sustained price tug of war. People can not help but ask, in the end how much is the potential of China’s mobile phone market?
