In “Joyce’s Ethical Interpretation,” a book, Marian Eide structuralist phenomenologist Levinas ethics as the theoretical basis for integration into feminist ethics, analysis of the Irish writer James Joyce “Ulysses”, “for the Fenni root guard” and other works of ethical dilemma. Ed emphasizes the reader’s role in the interpretation of the text. She believes that the narrative features of Joyce’s works require readers to assume ethical responsibilities and participate in the construction of the meaning of the works. The publication of the book provides a logically rigorous and well-argued model for literary ethical criticism. It also broadens the field of vision of Joyce’s research and has irreplaceable pioneering and practical guiding significance.
