Objective To observe the changes of dendritic cell subsets and T cell subsets related cytokines in peripheral blood of patients with preeclampsia. Methods The experimental group was 32 cases of preeclampsia, the control group was 20 cases of non-pregnant women, 20 cases of normal pregnant women. Peripheral blood cells were collected and myeloid dendritic cells (mDC) and plasmacytoid dendritic cells (pDCs) were isolated from whole blood cells by flow cytometry. Peripheral blood mononuclear cells (PBMCs) were isolated. Th1, Th2, Th17 cell number and Th1 / Th2 ratio. Results The percentages of mDC (0.33 0.12)% and mDC / pDC (2.96 1.65) in preeclampsia group were significantly higher than those in normal pregnancy group (P 0. 05). The percentage of pDC (0.16 0.13)% was higher than that in normal pregnancy (0.21 0.12)%, the difference between the two groups was statistically significant (P <0.05). The percentages of IFN-γ, IL-4 and IL-17 in preeclampsia group were (18.67 1.96)%, (1.88 0.51)% and (1.36 0.59)% respectively, which were significantly different from those in normal pregnancy group <0.01). There was a significant positive correlation between the ratio of mDC / pDC and Th1 / Th2 in preeclampsia group (r = 0.637, P <0.01). There was a negative correlation between the expression of Th17 and pDC (r = -0.670, , And there was a significant positive correlation between mDC / pDC ratio (r = 0.772, P <0.01). Conclusion The abnormal expression of dendritic cell subsets and Th1, Th2 and Th17 cytokines in peripheral blood of preeclampsia patients may be an important reason for immune imbalance in patients.
