当前广播电视媒体必须解答三个现实问题:一是在娱乐大众之外,广播电视还能做些什么?二是对受众的收视需求,是迎合,还是引导?三是在高雅通俗与媚俗低俗之间,该如何选择?2008年,江苏教育电视台在晚间黄金时段全力推出以“非凡人物,非凡话题”的大型人文访谈栏目群,一周七档,突出文化内涵,张扬人文关怀,引起社会的广泛关注和强烈反响。成功的实践说明,高品位的节目与高收视率之间没有壁垒森严的界限,人文精神的张扬与受众收视取向是同向的,积极的引导培养远胜过一味地迎合媚俗。分别是由广电总局发展研究中心主任助理兼政策研究所所长、研究员杨明品,清华大学影视传播中心主任、教授尹鸿,复旦大学新闻学院副院长、教授孟建,南京师范大学影视系副教授、文学博士白小易、江苏教育电视台台长顾鼎竞等撰写的一组文章,刊发在《个案研究》栏目,引发诸多的思考,值得一读。
