江苏省南通市保安服务总公司特勤大队共有五个中队,分别从事大型活动、危险品长途押运、娱乐场所、联网报警应急处置、公安协警服务,娱乐场所保安队在南通保安序列中的“番号”是特勤大队三中队,服务范围是市区大型娱乐场所。现有队员编制51名,队员中有武警部队退伍的散打冠军,有消防部队退役的“优秀士官”,有从事多年保安工作的“老保安”。在为娱乐场所的服务工作中,他们树立了南通保安的光辉形象,涌现出拾交巨款的周军;英勇顽强与歹徒搏斗,虽身负重伤,终将歹徒制服的申建彬;见义勇为、奋力追赶抢劫犯罪嫌疑人的黄新平;火眼金睛、智擒趁隙拎包犯罪嫌疑人的沈兵;拾金不昧的祁家富;数九寒天在停车场守候未关轿车门驾驶员的刘刚等一大批优秀队员和先进事迹,这一优秀的群体唱响了南通保安“派驻一方、平安一方”的主旋律,成为名副其实的南通社会治安防范工作中的一支重要辅警力量。
