On August 5 last year, I and a companion to the “Language Learning” magazine met from Beidaihe back to Beijing and lived in People’s Education Press. Comrade Wu Boxiao lived behind the bungalows, and we went to visit him. He asked him to publish the preface to the upcoming “Top Chinese Language Teachers Contest Contest” and “Winning Works Selection.” He said recently that he has poor health and is not mentally fit for writing. He strongly encouraged me to write and inscribe himself. Later Xu Juemin comrades told me: Wu laryngeal cancer, diet has felt, but did not tell him. In May this year, Comrade Wu Po-xiao brought his petitioner with letters: The disease is heavy and may soon come to an end. Unexpectedly, on the tenth of August actually died in Beijing!
