一、教材分析
本教学内容选自人教精通版小学英语四年级下册Unit6 Would you like to take a trip? Lesson32。要求掌握词汇:monkey, panda, bear, giraffe, camel。如何用英语询问这是什么“What’s this in English? It’s a …”并且会用简单的英文It has… and …句型来描述动物的外貌特征。
二、学情分析
四年级的学生具有好奇心强,好动,爱表现的特点,学生学习认真踏实,绝大多数学生对英语学习兴趣浓厚,能够自觉的进行学习。根据学生的这些特点,本节课我以游戏和不同形式的活动为主,让学生在愉快的课堂氛围中更快的融入到英语学习中去,留给学生充足的时间,让学生表演、展示并进行小组合作。
三、教学目标
【知识与技能目标】
1.能听、说、读、写单词:monkey,panda和bear。
2.能够正确地听、说、认读:giraffe和camel.
3.熟练掌握正确运用句型:What’s this in English?
It’s a …
4.会用简单的英文It is...It has... and...句型来描述动物的外貌特征。
【过程与方法目标】
针对以上目标,依托课件,通过竞赛、游戏、分角色表演,让学生理解并掌握本课时的重点内容,培养合作能力,提高口语表达和交际能力。
【情感与态度目标】
1.积极参与各种课堂学习活动,乐于感知并积极尝试使用英语。
2.激发学生热爱野生动物、保护动物的情感。
四、教学重点、难点
本课教学重点是:1.能够听、说、认读 giraffe和camel
2.能够听、说、读、写monkey, panda, bear,并能在四线格中规范书写。
3.能运用What’s this in English? It’s ...等语句进行交流。
本课教学难点是:掌握句型It’s so.... It has....并在日常生活和真实情境中运用其进行交流,形象恰当地描述动物的外部特征。
五、教具准备
单词卡片、图片、多媒体、PPT课件、小动物贴纸、四线三格、动物头饰等。
六、教学过程
Step 1.Warming up and revision (4分钟)
1.Greetings:
T:Hello boys and girls!
Ss:Hello Miss Leng!
T:Glad to meet you!
Ss:Glad yo meet you ,too.
2.Sing a song together:Go to the zoo.(歌曲导入,激发学生学习的兴趣,而且这首歌是里有很多动物的单词及描述动物的形容词,为学习新课也做了铺垫。)
T:Now let’s sing a song together!
T:What animals do you see in the video?
Ss:I see a lion/rabbit/turtle/horse.
3.板书课题并分组:T:Today we’ll learn some other words about animals.Let’s learn Unit6 Would you like to take a trip? Lesson32. Before the class,I will divide you into six groups,and you’ll have a match, if you have done a good job,you can get animal stickers for your group,OK?
4.Review the words of animals: T:First let’s play a game to review some words about animals.( 打地鼠游戏复习动物单词)

1.Review the sentences :What’s this in English. It’s a…
2. Learn the new words :monkey bear panda
3.Learn the new text.
4.Learn the Chant

Step 3 Practice(8分钟)
Now I will give you two minutes,you can read,retell or act! Let’s begin!(分层次练习)
1.Practice to read in groups.
2.补全课文Fill in the blanks.
3.看板书复述课文
4.Have a role play.
Step 4 Production (10分钟)
1.Make an animal card in groups and talk about it.(制作介绍动物小卡片并在小组内讨论)
T:Now look!This is my animal card,can you make an animal card for them? Let’s have a try.I will give you two minutes to make,then talk about it in your groups,ok? One two three go.
学生制作动物卡片并在组内讨论。
T:Ok now time’s up.Who wants to show your animal card? Come along!
学生到展台前展示动物卡片,然后粘在黑板上。
2.Suppose you are the tour guide now,introduce the animals in the zoo.(假设你现在是导游,向大家介绍动物园里的动物吧!)
3.情感教育:播放保护动物视频(2分钟)
T:Thank you very much! Thank you for introduce these lovely animals to us !Actually there are a lot of animals living with us.Let’s look at a video.(播放保护动物视频,对学生进行情感教育。)
T:Animals are our friends,No animals, no the world.So from now on,let’s protect the animals together. 保护动物,人人有责
Step5:Summary and Homework(1分钟)
