本文主要对江苏北部东海,贛榆县一带榴輝岩的地貭特点及其岩石学矿物学特征作一简单介紹,並对其退变貭作用和成因进行初步探討。根据苏北榴輝岩的地貭,岩石及矿物的特征推测苏北榴輝岩的形成可能是沿古老的郯城——江深大断裂有关的次一級断裂和胶南深大断裂带侵入的基性岩受到深成变貭作用的結果。在后来构造运动过程中,同时发生退变质作用,形成块状榴輝岩“核”及片理化的榴輝岩,角閃岩及綠泥片岩部分受到后期偉晶质注入影响,統一的,大小一般約数平方公里的溜輝岩被分割为許多小透鏡体状榴輝岩“核”,在一地区成羣出现。榴輝岩“核”之間片理化部分則受注入影响而成混合片麻岩或黑云母微科长石片麻岩,而榴辉岩“核”的部分不易受注入影响,故云母石英偉晶岩脈及石英脈发育,与榴辉岩总昌形影不离。
