In recent years, it has caused a lot of controversy about whether tonsillectomy and appendectomy can promote lymphocytoma (Hodgkin’s disease). Vianna et al. proposed that after tonsillectomy in 1971, lymphocytoma was induced. In 1964 Mac Vay found that patients with appendectomy had colon cancer. They think this is due to the removal of lymphatic tissue with barrier function. After these operations, the body’s resistance to cancer is reduced and malignant diseases are prone to occur. Vianna compared two groups of patients with 109 cases in each group. 61.5% of the patients with lymphocytoma had been treated with tonsillectomy, compared with 39.4% in the control group. He believes that tonsillectomy patients are more likely to have this disease than For people with tonsillectomy three times larger. The authors compared the rate of tonsillectomy and appendectomy in 225 cases of lymphocytoma with 307 controls and found no results.
