元认知理论是心理学研究的热点之一,它对教育实践活动具有指导作用,而运用元认知理论来指导我国英语教学具有重要的现实意义。英语听力是英语学习中的重要内容,但是现阶段许多学生的英语听力比较薄弱,不利于学生英语整体水平的提升。因此,本文从元认知理论视角分析英语听力薄弱的原因,并提出了一些解决方法,以提高学生的英语水平。
Metacognitive theory is one of the hot topics in psychology. It plays a guiding role in educational practice. However, the use of metacognitive theory to guide our English teaching is of great practical significance. English listening comprehension is an important part of English learning. However, at this stage many English listening comprehension is weak, which is not conducive to the improvement of students’ overall English. Therefore, this paper analyzes the reasons for the weakness of English listening from the perspective of metacognition theory and puts forward some solutions to improve students’ English proficiency.
