From August to December 2004, the Changsha Institute of Cultural Relics and Archeology conducted an archaeological excavation of the No. H9 pits in order to tie in with the capital construction. At the construction site on the north side of the eastern end of Pozi Street in Changsha City, The gray pit excavated a number of late Northern Song Dynasty porcelain (the late Tang and Five Dynasties period) and lacquer ware. Although these lacquer wares have only 6 pieces, they are in a better condition for daily necessities such as dishes and pots, and the shape of the petal mouth is more common. The lacquer method is a lap stitching process, the lacquer color is decorated with Zhu lacquer and black paint, reflecting the mainstream of the lacquer ware of the Song Dynasty, with obvious characteristics of the times.
