As long as the art world and the technology world stop arguing and drawing attention, video games may become the greatest storyteller in our time. Being both a novelist and a game designer, I’m not that lucky to be dual: to do a lot of group discussions, roundtables, and anything else you just nodded. In these activities, people in digital work want to be able to understand the techniques of storytelling, and those who write stories try to understand the digital world. Both activities have distressing places. When people engaged in digital work participate in story telling
