《泰和会语》、《宜山会语》同为马一浮先生在1938年的国学演讲,关于两著是否有联系、两著主旨是否相同等问题,学界迄今缺乏应有的细致研究。《宜山会语》因增加了三个讲题,即《说忠信笃敬》、《释学问》、《颜子所好学论释义》,使其主旨不同于《泰和会语》。《泰和会语》旨在论述“六艺”统摄中外一切学术;而《宜山会语》却旨在论述从立学到为学以及立学、为学之道。因为这一转变,宜山演讲实际上成了如何学国学的功夫之谈、方法之谈。国难当头大谈“明体达用”之功夫学问,再鲜明不过地反映了马一浮作为现代新儒家的立场和态度。
“Taihe Hui” and “Yishan Huiyu” are the same as Ma Yifu’s national academic speech in 1938, whether the two are related or not, and whether the two main thrusts are the same or not. Thus far, academia has been devoid of careful study. “Yishan Huiyu” added three topics, namely “Tutoring Faithfulness”, “Interpretation of Learning” and “Yan Zi’s Good Learning Interpretation”, making its theme different from that of “Taihe Huiyu”. “Taihe Huiyu” aims at discussing “Liuyi” and all the academic studies at home and abroad; but “Yishanhui language” aims at discussing from learning from learning to learning as well as learning and learning. Because of this change, Yishan speech actually became how to learn Chinese kung fu talk, method talk. The crux of the catastrophe put great stress on the knowledge of the kung fu used by the “Ming dynasty.” It clearly reflected Ma Yifu’s position and attitude as a modern Neo-Confucian.
