根据以往的应试教育的初中英语教学模式,把分数作为判断学生的关键点,形成以英语教师为主导的,学生被动接受知识的死读书课堂,这样的主体颠倒不利于学生对英语学习兴趣的培养,禁锢了学生自主思维能力。在被动学习过程中,不能以学生主体地位的建立,对初中英语的教学质量及学习目标的实现存有严重的教学弊端。因此,作为初中英语教师应根据新课改的思想,提高学生为主体对象的教育模式,进一步增强学生对英语学习的动力,教会学生自主学习的方法,培养初中生英语思维能力。
