The interest of mathematics learning is the psychological tendency of students to actively study mathematics knowledge and to explore new knowledge through innovation so that students can grasp new knowledge in the process of learning from old and new and can not only cultivate students’ interest in math study but also improve the self-confidence of pupils. This paper argues that we can improve students ’interest in maths learning from the following aspects: First, to create situations rationally and to arouse pupils’ interest in maths learning 1. To create operational situations and stimulate desire for exploration. According to the pupils ’active and curious psychological features, in the elementary mathematics classroom teaching, teachers can organize students’ activity mainly on some practical problems through hands-on measurement, demonstration or manipulation
