杨泳梁的作品,被视为数码影象山水画,人们能够在其作品中看到充实细节与虚幻景色之间的“虚实”关系,“刚”硬的城市景象与整体柔软山水景色间的“刚柔”相济关系。更重要的是,在传统山水美学看来,人工城市是丑陋,自然山水是美的,而他却把这两者统一于画面一体之中,为如何处理“美丑”提供了有趣的例子。他的作品取材于宋元时期的山水作品,再运用现代的数码摄影技术,表达他的创作主题。那是什么原因让这位1980年出生的小伙子作品广受关注,甚至博得大英博物馆的青睐?或许走进一步看,藏身于峰峦林海中的另一番画面能令人恍然大悟。
