The aesthetic ideal of “Natural Expose” is an important part of Guo Moruo’s poetic sentiment and the result of the integration of Chinese and Western aesthetics. The romanticism of the 19th century in the West provided direct nutrition for “natural discovery.” In China, the “natural” tradition pioneered by Zhuangzi was the source of Guo Moruo’s “natural disclosure.”
