  Facing the trends of the times of Chinese culture to go abroad, The Yellow River Publishing & Media Group Co., Ltd. obtains new breakthroughs in book and copyright trade by using the blood relationship, geographical relationship and emotional relationship between Ningxia and Arab countries and Muslim areas. Wang Yangbao, General Manager of the Group, says that the Group should “focus on distinctive characteristics, take a multi-win path, expand the industrial chain and introduce the professional talents” under the new historical conditions and to be new links to connect Sino-Arabic cultures.
  Choosing the right direction while going abroad
  There are three directions for The Yellow River Publishing & Media Group Co., Ltd. to go abroad: first, the western developed countries; second, Russia and eastern European countries; third, Arab countries, all of which are of unique characteristics and advantages. How to find the starting point and select the breakthrough? After deliberate consideration, The Yellow River Publishing & Media Group Co., Ltd. confirms the strategic development ideas of strengthening the exchange and cooperation with Arab countries and Muslim areas, giving full play to the comparative advantages and establishing the largest platform for Chinese book going Muslim countries.
  In the Riyadh International Book Fair in Saudi, Kuala Lumpur International Book Fair in Malaysia and Sharjah International Book Fair held recently, the Group has signed multi-copyright export, import and strategic cooperation agreements with foreign publishing agencies. In the Ningxia International Copyright Trade Fair for Muslim Publishing Agencies held in September 2011, the Group signed 217 books publishing agreements, concluded 23 strategic cooperation memorandums and started “Sino-Arabic Classical Books Inter-translation Publishing Program”.
  In domestic market, the Group establishes extensive relationship with publishing houses and culture companies at home and abroad by virtue of book fairs, publishing expos and book industry forums and other platforms to find high-quality publishing sources, carrying out topic selection and publishing cooperation of books for advantages complementation, so as to form a “going abroad” brand with proprietary intellectual property rights finally. In June 2012, during the 22nd National Books Trade Expo held in Ningxia, the Group concluded a publishing cooperation agreement with the Taiwan Books Publishing Association and joined the Local Publishing Industry Trading Association of China.
