The autumn of 1984, Changning District Board of Education leaders seek advice from the old teachers, please put forward our views on the reform of preschool education. I have been working in preschool education for nearly 50 years. I am often regretful about my work. I can not find information when I have problems in teaching. I would like to consult some books at a time and hardly buy them. At the same time, I can not buy many books. At the beginning of preschool education reform, how teachers need information exchange and how much information about early childhood education is needed to learn and learn. Therefore, I propose to set up a District-level Early Childhood Education Reference Room. The leadership adopted my suggestion and gave me the task of preparing a reference room. I incumbently stirred up this burden. First of all, I visited the city-level library, studied the library’s coding method, and combined the needs of our preschool teachers to determine the cataloging method. Then, through various channels, we can purchase books and periodicals such as Psychology, Pedagogy, Family Education, Early Childhood Intelligence Development, Health and Nutrition, Educational Administration, Domestic and Foreign Preschool Education Information, and Kindergarten Textbooks. In order to solve the difficulty of teachers using specimens in common sense classes, a large number of pest insects, mannequins, prisms, magnifying glasses, etc., which should be known to the specimens, were purchased in the reference room such as woodpeckers, swallows, owls, fish and young children. With the help of a large number of teachers and preschool editorial staff from all over the country, after a year of preparatory work, I collected about 3,000 reference materials for preschool education both in China and abroad,
