恐怖制造者 Horror Maker
Junji Ito was born in Gifu prefecture in 1963. Inspired from a young age by his elder sister's drawing and Kazuo Umezu's comics, he took an interest in drawing horror comics himself. Nevertheless, upon graduation he trained as a dental technician and until the early 90s he juggled his dental career with his increasingly successful hobby.
伊藤润二于1963年在日本岐阜县出生。小时候受到他姐姐的恐怖漫画和梅图一雄的漫画作品所启发，他自己也对画恐怖漫画产生了浓厚的兴趣。尽管如此，毕业后他却担任了制作齿模的工作，直到90年代初期他才改变他的职业生涯，着手于创作自己日益成功的恐怖漫画。
Junji Ito created a sensation in the Japanese Horror Comics world with his delicate touches and unique ideas. The puppet-theater group united the puppet theaters and the comic. So a motion picture visualization of Junji Ito's bizarre world, used dolls as the artistic medium, creating a terrifying, yet attractive "Doll Horror Movie".
伊藤润二以其细致的手法和独特的构思引起了整个日本恐怖漫画界的轰动。木偶剧组将木偶剧和动漫结合了起来。于是伊藤润二的奇异漫画世界以可视化的动态画面呈现出来了，它以玩偶为艺术媒介创造了一部恐怖却又引人入胜的“玩偶恐怖电影”。
Junji Ito has said that he liked to write stories which allow him to expose the monster hidden in the ordinary, and fans of his work will know that his surreal drawings are anything but ordinary, featuring horribly disfigured humans and chilling portents drawn in great somber detail. Most of the time, things start out ordinarily before he introduces something truly grotesque and then lets his characters and readers squirm as they try desperately to resolve whatever blight has been set upon them before they are overwhelmed by the horror. Junji Ito is also well known for eschewing any sort of scientific explanation for the strange events in his comics, concentrating his efforts on making the horror as visceral and disquieting as possible.
伊藤润二说他喜欢创作一些能够将隐藏在普通人身上的恶魔暴露出来的故事，伊藤迷们都知道他非凡超现实主义的作品尤以恐怖丑陋的人物和惊恐不祥的阴暗细节进行刻画著称。大多数时候，在引入一些奇怪异事之前，漫画总有个很平常的开头，然后再渐渐地让画里的人物和读者感到局促不安，在被恐怖事件彻底吓倒之前，他们都在拼命地消除作者安排在那些平淡事件之后的惊悚打击。伊藤润二还因其不用科学去解释他漫画中的种种奇怪现象而著称，他只是竭尽所能让读者感到不安，让漫画更震慑人心。
坠入《漩涡》Drop into Uzumaki
One day, the heroine Kirie catches sight of her boyfriend's father observing the snail accidentally. He is very interested in the scrolls, so he tries to collect various scrolls. At last, he makes twisted body himself in the electric washing machine.
一天，女主人公偶然看到她男朋友的爸爸在观察蜗牛。这位父亲对卷形事物非常感兴趣，所以他试着去收集各种有漩涡图案的事物。最后，他用洗衣机将自己的身体拧成了螺旋状。
At the day of his funeral, attendance witnesses the cloud of smoke which is made by cremating his body whirl in the sky turns into a big scroll. After then, many mysterious accidents happen in this town. His wife breaks the scrolls of her physique, like fingerprints or ears. Someone kills himself by rolling in the tire of running car or curls her very long hair extraordinarily.
葬礼当天，参加葬礼的人亲眼目睹了火葬场烟囱里冒出的黑烟在阴郁的天空中结成一个大大的漩涡。从那以后，这个镇里各种匪夷所思的意外层出不穷。死者的妻子弄破了自己的手指、耳朵之类带有漩涡图案的身体器官。有些人在正在行驶的车轮下自杀了，还有些女人将自己长长的头发盘成了漩涡状。
Shuuichi suspects that the scroll curses people in this town. So he proposes Kirie to run away from here immediately. But the scroll curse will be close to them...
男主人公猜想这个镇的人可能被漩涡诅咒了。于是他计划带着他女朋友尽快逃离这个地方。但是漩涡的诅咒正一步步地向他们逼近……
As to Uzumaki, Ito said that I always start from an image, so if I don't have that image I can't start drawing. I was really just interested in making a story about people who lived in a traditional Japanese row-house and seeing what happened.
关于《漩涡》伊藤是这样说的：“我总是从幻想开始创作，如果没有幻想我就没办法作画。创作漩涡时我真的只是热衷于创作一个生活在日本传统连排式房子里的人的故事，然后看看到底会发生什么。”
In addition to Uzumaki, Ito also helped to bring the first Tomie movie to the big screen. The game, based on Uzumaki, was released shortly after the release of the Uzumaki movie.
除了电影《漩涡》，在伊藤的帮助下，根据第一部漫画《富江》拍摄的电影也被搬上了大银幕。而且在电影《漩涡》上映不久，以《漩涡》为蓝本的游戏也发行了。
Since the cinematic successes of Tomie and Uzumaki, Junji Ito has had many of his comics adapted for TV and the cinema.
自从电影《富江》和《漩涡》大获成功以后，伊藤润二将他的很多部漫画作品改编成了电视剧或电影搬上了银幕。
