The sun is a huge, hot gas ball that burns endlessly like a big stove. The sun does not regrettably dissipate light and heat into interstellar space. The Earth’s sub-energy is only one-twentieth of the total solar radiation energy. However, this small part of light and heat makes our liveable planet full of life. It can be said that all phenomena on the ground (except tidal and volcanic activity) are driven by solar energy; in addition to atomic energy, the energy used by modern technologies of various types has directly or indirectly used the energy of the sun. The sun’s light and heat are the foundation of all life activities. If there is no solar energy to warm the earth, the earth’s temperature will drop to the temperature of the interstellar space, which is close to absolute zero. At this time, animals and plants will be killed by cold, and the world will become dead.
