THE inter-party exchange between theCommunist Party of China (CPC) andAfrican political parties is an importantpart of Sino-African relations. The CPChas expanded its external exchanges andcontacts, establishing ties with not onlynational ruling parties, but also partici-pating and opposition parties. The areaof exchange has been extended frompolitics to business, trade and culture. Theenlarged exchange has played a key rolein promoting the strategic partnershipbetween China and Africa.
