1983年5月号的《语文教学通讯》上以我为“封面人物”作了介绍,使我受宠若惊,感到压力很大。我收到省内外许多师生的来信,他们都以莫大的深情,关注看我在语文教学上、特别是作文教学上的改革动态,这对我不啻是一次有力的鞭策和鼓励。我下定决心,不能躺在“封面”上,应该展开智慧的双翼,扬起理想的风帆,从“封面”上走下来,走向现实,走向“路漫漫其修远兮”的求索道路。恰当此刻,我接受昆明市教育局教研室指派的任务,在高中搞一个语文教改实验班。这不能不说是一项光荣而艰巨的任务。决定搞实验,我先从调查入手。当时重点学校的取分线是550分,这样的学生在我这个班仅有一人而已,大面积的分数都在400分以内回旋,低到300多分的也大有人在。如何上阵?这要看敢不敢面对实际情况。如果单纯地从培养升入高一级
