当前,云南省鼠疫流行态势依然严峻,近3年来,文山州鼠疫流行再度复燃,几无间断,直接影响了当地的经济和社会的发展。1 基本概况1.1 鼠疫流行史 据云南省流研所调查:文山县曾于1857～1897年间有12年代鼠疫流行,其中有7次规模较大,死亡约60000人;砚山县于1874～1883年间有9年次流行,死亡3000人;邱北县于1874～1883年间有10年次流行,死亡3000人;马关县于1858～1904年间有7年次流行,死亡6000人;西畴县于1857～1879年间有7年次流行,死亡5000人;麻栗坡县在1856～1884年间流行3年次,死亡300人;富宁县1879～1882年间流行4年次,死亡1000人;
