自1980年代以来,美国诗人艾米莉·狄金森在中国逐步跻身外国文学核心经典作家行列,她的诗歌经过多种形式的重写,被纳入中国大陆出版的各类世界经典丛书和诗歌作品选等书系,其中九首诗作进入中小学语文课本,成为青少年的必读或推荐篇目。本文探讨狄金森诗歌在中国当代的经典化,聚焦入选中小学语文课本的狄金森诗作,从选目到翻译和改编,如何不可避免地受到中国当代教育体制的影响。入选初等和中等教育核心课程可以被视为狄金森在中国当代被再度经典化的标志性环节,另一方面,在经典形成的过程中,由于编选者和译者对狄金森诗歌艺术认识不足等因素,其原创性和陌生性力量也面临被削弱的风险。
Since the 1980s, the American poet Emily Dickinson gradually became one of the core classics of foreign literature in China. After her poetry was rewritten in various forms, her poetry was incorporated into all kinds of world classics and poetry works published in mainland China And other books, of which nine poems into primary and secondary school Chinese textbooks, a must read or recommended for young people.
